EdgeGamers Goes To Valve! Thanks to Lafinass, EdgeGamers got invited to Valve's Southern HQ for a Beta Test of Valve's new game Left For Dead! There were two sessions of Beta Testing scheduled, one on Thursday and one on Friday. Lafin, Dominon, Garden and Romantic Death were scheduled for Friday. JohnT was going to Vegas on Friday and opted for the Thursday eGO option. In the saddest story in the history of eGO, the Friday appointment got cancelled by Valve because of a scheduling issue on their end. Lafin's and the full eGO team did not get to go. ROME Are you interested in building an Empire? Then eGO is the place for you! Besides building our own version of Rome we have some friends in Sweden at a Game Company called Paradox Interactive that has built a successful series of empire building games called Europa Universalis. They asked us to give away several copies of the ROME episode to deserving eGO members. Prince Abu has already won one copy of the game by knowing that it was Artimus who named EdgeGamers and eGO. One Copy will be given way to a member in the banner contest. That leaves a couple of more to spread around.
