FREE TF2 WEEKEND! New Weapons! Pyro updates New Maps http://www.steampowered.com/pyro/?pw=presspreview One of the things we enjoy at Valve is seeing the fantastic things that community members create with the Source Engine SDK. When we released Team Fortress 2, we also released the production tools that we made our maps with. Since then, we?ve seen a ton of great, community-made maps appear on servers out there, and received many emails from players recommending their favorites to us. After seeing the large number of these maps, and the high quality work contained within them, we decided it?d be great to get some of them out in an update so that everyone can experience them. For the first Community Map Pack, we've selected two of...
The New Forums And YOU Change is not always bad. It just seems that way at first. e107 was a great CMS for us, but VB is 10 times more powerful. Sadly, it is also a little more complicated. But, that is not a bad thing. You can do more with VB, you just have to get used to it. Now that we have some things settled down, we are going to start rolling out some of the features of VB, but don't expect them overnight. Of course, no one likes to go slow and steady on things, but hey, we all have jobs and everyone is doing this for free. Yes, all the hours donated to the clan are just that, donated. No one is paid to do any thing you see, with the exception of Deacon (paid very little), LayeredTech (paid a lot) and VB (we miss the...
Scrim Season Returns to DoD! BigBird has an unofficial alternating DoD scrim season that about to go start. By alternating we mean that one week will be a scrim between the three classes of EdgeGamers. The e's, eG's, and eGO's will scrim for the old DoD dogtag. With the added bonus of the e's possibly getting a chance at instant promotion if they can win the dogtag. This doesn't mean that you can keep the G, but if you can beat the eG's and eGO's in a knockdown drag out fight, you will get your chance at admining. Mess up and you lose your G, but you will get your chance. To be eligible for winning the G, you must participate in scriming both the eG's and eGO's. The rest of the inter-house scrim season is going to be alternating...
NEW NEWS! This month's drawing is officially closed. Thanks to all of you who particpated! And special thanks to Saitek who have created the Cyborg line of gaming peripherals just for people like us. The drawing will be held on June 25th. For those of you wondering what it takes to keep eGO up and running every month....it is a little over 1k. That's right, over $1,000 give or take a hundred bucks each month for new server setup fees, ect ect... The people with the financial ribbons are the ones who have contributed over the past two years and have allowed us to grow from 2 servers to 20 servers. Now, with our sponsors like Saitek giving us gear to give to them they not only support the greatest community of all time...

If you are an eGO only. Please post in the Transfers section. If you want admin for TF2 CS:S or CoD4 (And what ever other game we get into). If you are an eG or an e. Please do not post in the transfer section. You do not have to post there. Please do not post in the recuriting office if you have already posted a recuritiment thread in another division. If you have started out on Game1(DoD:S), you do not need to post in Game2(TF2) vice versa. eGO's only transfer over. eG's do not. example. If you started on DoD:S, and you get promoted to eG on DoD:S. You do not get admin on TF2. Why? Because you are not at the eGO rank. Its a perk when you become eGO. So when you are playing in a TF2 server please have the game you started at on...
