Issue Reason:
This individual knows his way around these parts of town. Starting off as a writer, this person had branched out to socials, helping tremendously in both departments, and even dabbling a little bit in the video department as well. They have been fantastic with completing projects well before they are due. This person also always communicates with us whenever he is unable to get something done, or just wants to help out a little bit more. They have also taken it upon themselves to do projects that are either missing, or if someone else is unable to complete their project on time, this person steps up and takes 1 for the team. This individual also recruits like a madman, helping us include more members of the community! As noted, this person also helps out a lot in the socials department as well. During this persons time in socials, they have contributed to all our social media equally. This person is always on top of their postings and communicates very well with the team. They supply innovative ideas for future posts; and constantly is looking for new ways to improve our social media. Without this person on socials, we would not be running at the pace we do now. Thank you for all of your hard work and compassion, Congratulations, Martin!
Issue Reason:
In early 2020, I joined eGO with the intentions of gaming, nothing more nothing less. Throughout my time here, I have gained friendships that go beyond the realm of gaming. One of those friendships is Martin, who is not only my friend but an incredibly valuable individual for eGO.
Often, Member Services is seen as a “customer support” team, which is important to note not only because this is a misconception but also because Martin pushes those boundaries on a daily basis. A customer support team would not have individuals going above and beyond what is asked of them. To that end, Member Services is not just people who do applications - Martin is not an application bot. He provides help to members on the forums and through our Discord ticket system. We have yet to see a complaint from anyone that Martin has steered them in the wrong direction. Community Outreach, one of our new pillars of Member Services, thrives largely in part due to Martin with our main discord seeing a sizable increase in numbers from his contributions and suggestions. In Community Outreach but also Member Services as a whole, Martin is the first one to step up to a challenge whether that is training, taking notes, or creating difficult conversation. Just recently, Martin rewrote our Application Processing Information Center simply because he wanted to. This hard work and reliability should and will not go unnoticed.
Everyone has their ups and downs, but it takes a special kind of person to push through that and grow simultaneously. From an outsider perspective, Martin is the embodiment of what it means to be in this community. His commitment to integrity and respect with passion to see others join the fray is exactly what we strive for in Member Services but also in a community-wide sense. However, Martin developed these skills over time. He certainly could have quit along the way, and there were many opportunities for him to do just that. It is an absolute no brainer from Architect of Life, FirezFury, and I to present this Platinum Commendation to Martin. Thank you for all you do!
Issue Reason:
Martin has been a backbone of Member Services ever since he joined the team. He can be seen hosting fun events, training MS members, and being on the frontlines of spreading awareness our community. He is always helping in retaining new and old members.
Martin joined MS in October 2021, and though he has not been here long, he has made a difference that cannot be overlooked. Martin has taken the initiative to be in every single team in the Member Services category and without him things would not run as smoothly. It is with great pleasure that we present him with the Diamond Commendation, and we continue to look forward to see what he does next.
