Hey guys, havent seen a post in a while and we really need this

Well last night i was getting ready to spec our Dust2 server when i saw no one on Italy, Highschool, or Zombie Mod. Guys, we need to get spectators there so we can get our servers ranked up. Maybe spec when you are asleep, or for some of you during school. I mean really guys, we shouldnt have an empty server EVER.

Just a heads up and a friendly note saying, Get Spectating!

That's a really good idea and all, and I hope others will do it, but it's not a possiblility for me because I've had problems with my laptop melting because of too much gaming. I wouldn't be able to leave it on overnight.

That's not going to be a problem for me for a while. I always leave my PC on. I did not know that we could stay in spec mode all nite if we wanted. I'd sure hate to take up a slot should a server fill up. However, now I know and before I call it a nite I will look anf see what server needs a spec.

I used to spec at night all the time. My play time when i looked when i did it was over 300 hours in the passed 2 weeks... But one day my fans burnt out and my charger melted and i had to go offline for a while... I will occasionally idle in Italy through the day when i can maintain my laptop but the nights are too sketchy now... Dont want to start a house fire like it nearly did last time :)

I think I'll start doing this. Only on some nights though, because I don't want my electric bill to run too high.

The only problem is that when someone joins because they see someone is on it, and then everyone is just in spectate, and no one is really playing, so the just leave..

I will start doing this when i go to sleep, and Dust2 is our #1 server, so spec there.

I'll do it to. Though, the melting of laptop stories kinda' turns me away from this. u__u

This might just be for TF2 (although an issue like this might affect eGO as a whole but not entirely sure), but there is talks about not having to worry about spectating the servers.

Not saying don't, but if you happen to forget don't worry about it.

This is true, but when there are people in spec, it still counts population. This will cause people to see players (or so they think) and join the server to play anyway. This is important, especially in dead hours.

I tend to turn on my CS and idle when I'm not playing at home. Usually in HS or d2. Others I've seen "seeding" highschool with me are saetan, bigredking, and evilbear. There's a few others but I don't remember their names. Usually 6 of us.
