Got into my first Hardcore server last night and what a fun time I had the only bad thing was people started spawn camp. I did have one awesome moment though I got a headshot on a chopper pilot and watched the chopper fall out of the sky.

You lucky devil you, I would have loved to see that. Any chance that blood spattered every where around the pilot?

Not knowing about this game untill live a week ago I have been checking things out. I found on I think it was the official site that you could sign up for Beta. I did this and it said they would seen me an email if I was choosen. But then I also read that they also signed like 3.000 people up in just a couple of day. So Good Luck, I havent got anything yet.

I can't even play the beta any more, half the time the game cant join a server and when it does connect to a server, I have lag and none of my unlocks are on. What's going on?

Yep. EA or Dice who ever runs the servers are known for having problems like this.

Have you not played Battlefield before?

I own MW2 and after playing the beta I can honestly say when March comes around MW2 will be off my Harddrive.

You need to play it first before saying something so drastic

Good job, your pretty qualified to make that judgement after playing 60 hours of beta..

ohwait

Just because they are both games of modern warfare does not mean they are even remotely close.. This game is soooooooo different from COD it would take like 9 pages to explain how much better it is.

Atleast try before jumping to a rediculous speclation.

i agree, just a little bit only.

but in all honesty, i love the game, i really do, but, a big BUT (like mines XD)

it feels, VERY recycled. it feels just like battlefield 2, with a bit better graphics, and a little bit more stuff. but hey, its in its beta phase, so no final there :p

sorry, but thats how i feel. pretty much every game is the same now a days, but atleast they bring new things to the table. rather its their story telling, new game modes, or state of the arts graphics.

but i can say in all honesty, BC2 feels the same as when i first played BF2. it doesnt get my heart pumping, i dont feel the need to want to kill the enemy, pretty much i dont really want to do anything other then control that drone or suicide tanks with c4's.

i have to say, other then the buildings being breakable now, not really much of an improvement.

sorry, hate me all you like, i just spoke my mind. and i rarely give out bad reviews on games, because most have something to offer. but like i said, its not the final release, we didnt get to unlock anything yet, so that may turn this around :3

i can name one game that was just plain crap though, search for turning point, god awful game.

Remember people the beta isn't the final build of the game that's why it's called a beta. DICE turned many things down to get the beta under a few gigs. The final version will be better with more features.

You can still encounter the ever elusive indestructible wall, the ones nearest the m-com stations primarily.
 
my favorite thing so far. for every person who has something mildly negative, and for the most part uneducated....theres 15 people who say it's great. This game should hang around for awhile for pc gamers I think :)

a real trash game is evident right from the start. This is doing great even in a watered down beta build.
 
there is a hardcore mode? If there is, that would be awesome! I think increased damage for guns would be really nice. it shouldn't take a whole clip to get a kill. I love the beta overall, I can't wait to see the other maps and vehicles. What potential, I really can't wait for the mods, like point of exsistance and dcon were 2 of my fav bf2 mods.
 
assuming we're keeping all of our ranks and stats after beta, what happens with all the rank points we have accumulating towards that currently unattainable rank 12. Will they all be saved and used towards ranks after release?
