Drunken Fool is a Source coder. During the days of idling, he created a program that allowed you to idle in TF2 without having to have TF2 open. Valve did not like this, and made DF close down the program, take away all of the items gained with the idler program, and gave everyone who did not idle with the program a Halo.

Also with the program he made TF2items.com, a place where you can view TF2 backpacks.

The biggest thing is Valve gave him a Community Weapon and decided to help him with getting his website out to the general TF2 public and people raged because they think he was awarded for causing the Halo fiasco
 
Ok im starting to that people are blowing this whole golden wrench thing out of proportion.

Yes, it would be cool to have one.
Yes, only 100 are ever going to e given out.

But its still not really anything to get upset over not getting.

Lets do some math here.

Thousands of people that play TF2 + Only 100 wrenches=Very small chance you will get one.

yes, Hes the reason idle was here, and it annoys me that he got this, when there are many other deserving people who probalby will get nothing.

Also, they gave him a comnunity weapon for starting the halo fiasco, what is wrong with ValVe?!?

If it's a system, an algorithm that was intended to be "random" and he broke it doesn't mean valve gave him the wrench, he got it. You expect them to take it away?

Or maybe not, valve did give him the wrench. We all know Valve likes to troll.

Besides.. Deserving of What? It's not a symbol of anything but randomness.
 
Yes, but it doesnt have to be random, it could have been for those people who have TONS of Engie talent and time.

Its a waste of a greta item, instead of seeing a great engie, that sysmbolized in a wrench, I see that newb who got a random wrench.

Yet, the thread is named after one particular newb, this drunken f00l guy, not against Valve's system, because if you had been able to decipher it (That, assuming all those statistics are right) faster, you wouldn't be bashing it.
Don't want to sound aggresive or troll'ish anyways x3
 
So far, I think I have deceifered it, 2/3 of my times have been right, and the 3rd I didnt even predict, so its like 3/4.

Im just saying that ValVe, this and all its item system needs to be revamped.
 
That is gonna screw up the wrenchs SOOOOOOOOOOOO much, #47 now on the list has wrench 48, watch them screw it up so bad, then just make it an obtainable for everyone.

PS. Theres a rumor flying around that he just got VAC banned :)

Up at the top where it says "My Account" Click the arrow pointing down.
Then Click "Edit my Details."
Scroll down under "Additional Details"
And use the drop down menu under "Division Tag" and select Team Fortress 2.
Save
Done.
