I'm really bored and crafthub.net doesn't work, anyone *Ahem*Lava*Ahem*(I'm not trying to be a jerk, just wondering ) got a server running?

Crafthub is still up but it is still on the old Alpha so you need to downgrade to play there.

Actually, game's in beta what is now today. It was in alpha yesterday.

It looks really good (I'm into these kind of games), and as seeing I'm El Cheapo, I'm probably going to get it for christmas.

It's like before...but beta! And it costs $20 now. And if you buy it now, you aren't promised every future update for free. Which means that after Minecraft is released, you get the game and all bug fixes. Alpha people get the content updates.
Mainly, the beta update was a bunch of bug fixes, the ability to throw eggs, and when you hover your mouse over an item in your inventory, it shows the name.

Yes, I do play minecraft though I don't have much time because of my busy schedule but then to I take out some time from it and play mine craft daily.

If you enjoy searching for precious minerals, then this is the game for you.

If you enjoy being limited by only your imagination, then this is the game for you.

No. The rumor is that FUTURE updates "might" not be free if you buy it after alpha.

I don't see that happening though. Just my opinion of course.

agreed. paying for updates would just make stuff too complicated and less ppl are willing to buy minecraft. so id guess its still free.

What's not working exactly? I play Beta fine aside from some random lag or intermittent crashes, but hey it's beta; I'm just happy tah have custom water and lava back on .

On Multiplayer? That might be what she's talking about, because most people host their servers using hMod, which hasn't been updated yet.

Yea my server is on a temp map b/c hmod hasn't updated yet. Sux, I miss my ziggurat....but I was asking cause she wasn't very descriptive in what wasn't working.

Will definitely be happy once my server can block potential griefers again.

I really saw no point in it, I mean you just dig... it's just a sandbox that allows you to dig and dig. I just can not understand and it and never really got it or understand the goal and concept of it but hey it's popular and lots of people seem to like it. Whatever makes them sleep easier at night I guess.

Sandbox is a love or hate thing, not much room in between. It's all about you, the rest of the community, and what you make of the world instead of the world making something out of you.

All in all, just a different way of approaching gameplay and though I love a good engaging story driven game as much as the next person, I love me a good sandbox community just as much. ^^
