How do you feel about Minecraft server resets?

ever time i finish a house theres always a reset

How often the resets happen is just one of the many reasons I am not on the server anymore. The tools command being removed made collecting everything and then rebuilding not worth it just to have it all disappear again.

Same as BlueStealth, but I do love all the allchats every like 10 seconds about minecraft! I just love being informed!

I wasn't too happy about this one as it seemed to happen quite quickly after the last one, but if a map's been around awhile and I've run out of ideas, I actually appreciate the resets.

I quit playing because of the resets. It's depressing seeing what you just worked on disappear then have to find a new spot to build and explore. Especially having to craft new tools and gather new materials.

For me... This is very.. very.. discouraging. I try to stay positive about things.. but this just.. really makes me irritated, not just for my own things.. but for others as well. The money.. doesn't bother me.. at all.. but the elaborate homes that everyone makes just *poof*.. oh well .. sorry... that just bites all the way around.

Why should someone put time and effort into things that are just going to get wiped.

We don't usually get a voice/vote on things that happen on the server either.. Like.. the survival aspect.. for example.. there were several people who would have rather had the survival (PVP) aspect in the nether.. to handle two birds w/ one stone. Kill and loot in hell.. gather glowstone.. netherack and other goodies... everyone get's what they want.

I also find it funny .. that fire isn't allowed.. in the "regular" server. If fire spread is off in the first place.. it's rather silly to have fire turned off for members.. especially when you can decide which groups can use certain items.. (the bucket is turned off for non-members) Why not allow e's and up the ability to light their own fire? All they can do to grief is put a fire on something.. that wont burn down... like it's that big of a deal to just extinguish it.


Anyways.. there's a lot that I see on the server that bugs me. Those are just the things that bug me the most.

I stopped playing on the eGO server,

the map resets

restriction on commands

restriction on plugins

are all contributing factors to why i stopped, I built Derpville 4 times, but seeing my 5th erased would be to heart wrenching,

so much time collecting to build a base, just so that i can build art and show how cool everything is, but not in time before the map is reset...

Sadly, I may never return

I play LEGO if I need to build something big and put +100 hours in it. I can build it in real life and map never resets in real life ha ha

Stopped playing after the 2nd reset. I wish there was a way to not have to do that.

I think the resets are positive. But when they happen so soon that you are unable to complete your project it can be frustrating.

This last reset was understandable as it was a technical malfunction. So I am holding off on building a large structure again until the next major update happens.
