It's a budget cpu, but it has an outstanding price to performance ratio. It gets the job done.

Who purposely goes out and buys AMD? Intel made that a bad idea with their iSeries. Have you guys seen Ivy Bridge? Man, I can't wait for what they come up with next. Core i5 (First gen.) at 3.2 GHz with 16GB RAM.

It's a lot cheaper and has the same real world performance.

Back it up with a good GPU and gaming is no problem.

I really wanted the 2600k but instead got the AMD Phenom II X6 1100t and oc it to 3.8 Ghz. Works perfectly for me and I doubt I would be able to tell the difference it and the 2600k.

My Amd does what it needs, runs bf3 on ultra. No need to bash amd, intel goes over the top with their products in my mind.

I clicked 'Other' cpu due to the modifications and level of OC as it's really beyond the scope of anything Intel has out.
