De_Highschool is basically a online map of a highschool/campus somewhere in the world..Didn't you feel the same way about school when you had to go to a newer one? (Say from Elementary to Middle or Middle to High, etc) ;)

Ask your local architect that. That's all I can say. :P

Any actual high school has about the same amount of entrances, if not even more. compare that with colleges, which have atleast 2x as much.. (Depending on if you work for the college or not)

It's not really that bad as long as the CTs work together as a group; teamwork baby! :)

Also, Ts really only use like 2 pathways to bomb, so once you figure out their way it doesn't become that difficult to stop them. Yes, many entrances, but they all lead to 2 major locations. So it really isn't that hard to protect the bomb site as long as you stay in those 2 major locations.

Also, this map was (if I am not mistaken) touched up by Rogue Sniper, so it's a little different than the original High School map.

true there about the camping part but i also hate when the bomb career is afk thats annoying

It isn't difficult to guard as a CT at all. The place you spawn at is already a site, and if you wanted to move to A it would be a short walk up CT stairs or through North hall.

There also aren't as many entrances as you think there are, to go to B site you only have 2 maybe 3 entrances: West Hall, North Hall, or CT Stairs (only if A has been taken, there are usually CTs watching CT Window so usually this isn't a problem). Post 1-2 CT's watching North Hall from CT Spawn and place a few watching West Hall/Parking Lot and you have B under control.

Now for A Site, you have the same amount, 2 or 3: You have an entrance from North Hall, East Hall, and possibly from CT Window. Same thing as B site really, put a CT or two on North, put a few on East, and CT Window should be taken care of since we have CTs at West and usually there are a couple CTs up in the Window overlooking courtyard.

These are just theoretical examples of what to do, as your teammates don't always listen to you or they may just be new to the map and don't know where to go or what to do.

I would say if you were playing, go where more people are needed to cover a site. If there are 10 CTs and say 7 are watching A site or are in courtyard, then it would be wise to stay in B.

idk it was a questin to post i mean its not like its something that needs to be changed its just a question and everyone is posting on it

Oh, it's not an issue about the question, just where you posted it. That's what I was pointing out; it makes more sense to be in the CSS division than just general clan chatter.

From a competitive stand-point I would say yes, too many entrances. But the map is designed perfectly for a large public server, which is what eGO uses it for.

With so many entrances it forces the CT's to spread out to cover them all, giving a coordinated T team a fair chance of winning rounds.

On the flip side, it also allows the CT's to respond quickly via North and CT stairs.

The map we're using is the last revision with previous maps being horribly CT sided.

Keep in mind, highschool is home to the top killers in eGO and most of the regulars are beasts. It'll take practice to hang with us there.
