I was just wondering if we are allowed to use scripting on the servers, i.e. a quickscope key or a minisentry/frontier justice crit boost (binding a key to destroying the minisentry), or max-height rocket jumping

Basically the idea is to bind a key to doing multiple actions at once, for example, clicking the mouse wheel to crouch, jump, and fire at the ground all at the same time.

Is this considered exploiting in EGO?

I have scripts that change my numpad into a disguise kit and build/destroy PDA. I don't think scripts count as exploits on any servers, except for an automatic pistol script that can shoot faster than a normal pistol.

Valve fixed that one.

Scripts are allowed as long as they don't give an advantage I believe

Well I think that's the point Honorbound's trying to make. What really qualifies as an unfair advantage?

As a spy I'm really bad at planting a sapper on a sentry imedieatly after a stab (call it nerves, lag, etc) and Stabbystabby's sapper script helps me plant near instanly with less effort.

Because of the script I can plant a sapper far faster than I could manually. Is that an unfair advantage?

I use a script so i can zoom in with the ambassador and huntsman to help my aim. I actually had the same question in my admin class with goyan-tanuki and he said it was allowed :)

Basically the only script I would use is a quickscope.

But yes, what classifies as an unfair advantage?

i'm most of the time Vanilla.
Or rocketjumping all over.
