Agreed; the only "racing" games that I enjoy playing are generally on the n64. Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, etc. I haven't played any of those games in a long, long time though - it might be time to dust off the old console!

Everything else doesn't strike me as fun though.

I played a lot of iRacing and rFactor(I would love Forza if Microsoft decided to actually support my wheel...stupid M$), I enjoy the sim racing but haven't played them in a few months.

I've been an on and off subscriber to iRacing, as well as having played the F1, Forza, and Gran Turismo series of games. Racing games seem to be an on again off again relationship with me. Honestly, I would probably resub to iRacing if I could invent some fold-away mounting system for my steering wheel so I wouldn't have to keep mounting and un-mounting it all the time. The hassle drives me away as much as anything, that and the fact that it's easier to step away in the middle of an fps game than a racing game.

I like to play it but i only play it occasionally. NFS, Midnight club, Test Drive, etc.
