Problem: The_Polish is deployed to parts unknown with a laptop and next not powerful/fast enough to handle the ping of connecting to EGO servers let along getting on local foreign servers.

It is very boring where The_Polish is at due to the areas lack of hats and mini sentries

The_Polish really misses playing TF2 with his friends and other members of EGO

The_Polish is still a gun crazy engineer who has more metal money gained from fighting the Gray threat then he can spend on upgrades and wants to but 10 of these upgrade packs to give to EGO.

The_Polish has been out of touch with EGO for a few months and does not know who to trust with these items and wishes to know what kind of event will be done for the F2P members who would receive them as winnings.

The_Polish also wonders when The_Polish started started speaking in shirt person and blames Honorbound for everything.

I don't know how feasible this would be, but we could announce an event for free to play members, with the announcement that the players with the most points would get an upgrade to premium gift.

Another idea that would be kind of fun, would be to have something like a dog tag scrim, but instead of es and Gs vs Os, it would be something like free to play vs premium players. Each premium player would acquire for themselves, whether through metal or money, a upgrade to premium gift, and when they get dominated, they give the gift to the person that dominated them. Once they get/give the gift, they would leave the server and let someone else join until either we run out of gifts or we run out of free to players.

As for who to give items to, just talk to Cael or Wilson, and ask one of them to introduce you to Backpack

That'd actually be pretty cool. But, I don't know about dominations being the method of getting the upgrades. (Since although this sounds communist, I believe in providing based on need, rather than raw TF2 talent. Or something.) Like, maybe if you rewarded activity in servers or service to eGO (as subjectively judged as possible, of course)?

It's a good idea, it just seems like it needs a few tweaks before it would be able to happen. Not sure what those tweaks are, but it seems like it needs some changes first.
