There has been lots of talk about who is the hardest class to play. I am just wondering what you guys are thinking. Thanks;)

Each class has a huge skill curve that can never truly be mastered.

In my opinion, Soldier. It is the most mobile of every class and a good one can wreck an entire team.

In competitive? Spy. You need to have good mechanics and tricks like every other class, but you also need to be able to out play your enemies with mindgames. Spies are less point and click and more thinking.

mwjhnsn dr is crap against good people and it can even be a downgrade because of not being able to choose when to cloke and decloke

W+M1 pyro. It's hard playing through all the hate.
I assume you mean as opposed to puff'n'sting or backburner playstyles? As a primary flamethrower user, I just laugh it off when people whine about their fatal third degree burns. The differences between puff'n'sting and vanilla flamethrower is similar to the DH and stock launcher. One has good dps v. solitary targets, and the other allows you to harass/destroy multiple foes at once.

Well, each class is easy to play and get a few frags in, but to truly master each class takes different skill sets. With scout you need to strafe, dodge, juke, and have marginally good tracking to deal with each other class and put out damage. With pyro, airblasting EVERY projectile has different challenges and rewards, and airblasting people for proper positioning takes skill, as well as knowledge on the secondaries, and how and when to use them. For Soldier, once you learn to fly, you can explode anything you want. For demoman, proper use of stickies is more important than pipe aim, but knowing arcing weapons really helps. For Heavy, a gun, a sandvich, good tracking, and most importantly gamesense are what you need. Engineer is all about strategy, and knowing that you're not chained to your nest. Medics are another easy to play class that to master you need a great gamesense in order to be a supreme use. Sniper is honestly point and click adventure, so quick reflexes and good tracking help there. And spy. Spy is probably one of the most difficult to master classes out there.

tl;dr: Puppies and kittens are adorable

^that right there.

I'd say either spy or scout since anyone who is good at either can tear a team apart

Valve has put years and years of beta testing and data collecting to tune the TF2 classes just right. There is no "hard class" or "easy class", only different learning curves.

tl;dr scout :3

I know, that's why I stopped using it :P My point is, having two lives can be a little cheap, especially if you are really good.

I say that it would have to be Spy because that's one of the hardest classes for everyone to master, and once you get it right, you can make their whole team want you (to stop killing them).

This is a hard one, lots of learning curves for each class. I'm going to have to say soldier. Learning how to rocket jump well enough to get around takes practice. Being able to get in an out of sticky situations. Being able to hit people's feet for the kill, not but seriously aiming a rocket does take skill. As well as learning to use your shotgun, if you have it, to finish people off. Don't forget about that market gardener. Lots of skill needed to use that properly.

I don't think Soldier's hard, he just has a high learning curve.

I can agree that Spy's hardest. He has to think about any move he makes.

Spy or scout. I'd put Spy at first then Scout right behind it.
