The origins of your name

Cmdpoopie.
Commander Poopie. Or Command Poop.
I chose this name because my nephews and I thought of different Military ranks and put some sort of "poop" Suffix at the end. My eldest nephew is Sergeant Diarrhea and my other nephew is Corporal Turdleling (some people call it prairie dogging your poop. As in holding in your poop from coming out and trying to "suck" it back in).
Weird i know. But it sounded funny in the end

This is in fact a name stolen from my brother, who has no further need for it. We in fact traded names about 5 years back.
I originally went by Lord-Of-Noobs in the starcraft/diablo2/wc3/tfc era, but when playing CS:S adopted the name That Guy With A Weapon, due to my love of using knife and random weapons.
Upon buying orangebox, I put it on my brothers steam account by accident, and thus my tf2 shenanigans began as Super-Nova, and we pretty much traded names then, and never went back, mostly due to laziness, and I have been Super-Nova and he That Guy With A Weapon, in case you ever see him playing on our servers, as he occasionally does.

Back in 2008 when I got a laptop for college, I had purchased the Orange Box. Initially I disliked tf2, so I bought cs:s. There was a zombie server that I enjoyed and was the admin of. At the time I had just finished Fullmetal Alchemist and went by the name The Fullmetal Alchemist. Everyone shortened it to Fullmetal and I've been using it since.
THe first online name I remember ever having was attacker8, at that time I was 8 years old and playing one of the first tribes games. Then I came up with some other name that I have no idea what it was for about 3-4 months. Then after that short time I came up with the name Shiznoe which apparently I stole from Red vs Blue. I have been using Shiznoe ever since.
When I started gaming in the 90s I used Spitdown as my name. This was just a weird name that a friend had come up with one day when we were bowling. He was putting everybody's nicknames in the computerized scorekeeper and I never really had a nickname so we were just putting words together that sounded weird and Spitdown came out. Then, I stopped gaming for about 15 years and when I came back I just used my real name, coryhess. After I started playing TF2 a couple months ago I watched an old movie from the 70s that I remember from being a kid and the place that the bad guys lived was called Scortch and I thought that sounded cool.

Way back when I was trying to think up a good name for a character for a game. Ended up pulling a book about names off of one of my house's dozen bookshelves. randomly selected a name from there. 4 year later, I found out what the name meant. :biggrin:

Think I already answered this in some other thread, but...
Back in my CS:S days I had the suicidal tendency to run towards the T spawn on Dust2 down long A's route with nothing but a flashbang and a deagle, hide behind the double doors while listening for footsteps, flashbang the room and go bananas on the poor saps.
Even killed a guy once with the tactic by hitting him in the noggin with the grenade (read: not with the explosion, just the impact of metal meeting face). Was laughing so hard when I realized what happened I got killed. XD
