Aloha everybody.


My name is Malia . My husband is Kilea aka 808-State.
My husband is very compassionate for you guys. I would love for you guys to return the favor and pray for him. He will be undergoing several severe surgeries in the following months.
On January 17 of this year my husband was on his way back home from a training class he had held over the Christmas season . A drunk driver passed a red light and hit Kilea's car in the driver side with estimated 70 mp/h . Kilea suffered bad injuries to his hip, spine and his head. The head injuries are healing well but some of the fractured ribs punctured his lung and he had parts of his lung removed to stop internal bleedings. His spine was tweaked and his disk spacers are swollen. He has only partial feelings in his legs and his toes.
My husband always enjoyed being with you online and I enjoyed many stories he has shared during family dinners. His sons and daughter adore him and besides being a hero to our family he has served his country . He is well respected in our community and he initiated a weekly homeless feeding with our motorcycle club. Just a few weeks ago he had an edgegamer banner made by a local company to hang up above his computer corner.
He wanted me to let you guys know what is happening and he was worried to loose his spot in this online community. Please pray for him because even in these rough times he thinks of you guys. I surely believe he will return in the future once he has overcome the injuries and rehab.

P.S.: He has already asked me to bring him his laptop so he could keep up with his obligations for this community but I am restricting him for now since the doctors ordered rest for him.
 
Our thoughts are with him wishing a speedy and full recovery.

Let him know to take as much time as he needs; his health is more important. This community will be here when he is ready.
 
I will do some praying for him. I hope he gets better soon and we get so see him online.
 
Our prayers our with him. I will ask our church to pray for him... as a friend cause I can't explain "808State"! lol...

my thoughts are with him. i hope he recovers fast from his injuries. if you get a chance to show him this or give him a note or something:

werde bald wieder gesund, mein freund. unsere gedanken und genesungsw?nsche sind bei dir. wir halten deinen platz in ehren bis du bald wieder bei uns bist. alles gute und auf ein baldiges wiedersehen!

i know he understands it so if you get a chance to show it to him that would be great. best of health and luck to him.
 
Hope you get feeling better! My prays are with you and your family, listen to your wife. Take a few days off of the community, I think we will be ok for a minute :)

Hope everything turns out well with his surgeries and hospital stays. I work at a trauma center and understand the level of care that goes into such injuries. Even though i am a newer member of the Battlefield crew we are all brothers and sisters in the gaming community. 808-Stat3 is a well respected and dedicated member to eGO. His obligations right now should be to heal and rest. Give him updates on members posts and how the community is doing.

My thoughts are with him, may his recovery be swift and through and he emerge strong as ever. Take it easy Stat3, we'll be here when your ready to get back in the game, don't rush it.

I don't know either of you, but you seem like great people. My thoughts and prayers go out to you both as well as the rest of your family! May he make a speedy and healthy recovery. <3

Thank you so much for letting us know about your husband! I am so sorry this happened to him and I wish him a full and speedy recovery. Your husband is a very well known and loved member in this community, my prayers are with him and your family. As another member said, his health is more important and tell him to please rest and get better, his spot in this community will NOT be taken away.

This pains me to hear about this, his always positive and helpful attitude has had quite an effect on me. He always makes members feel welcome and wanted. You and your family will be in my prayers. Hopefully there will be a speedy recovery so we can be graced by his presence soon.

I also will keep him in my thoughts- It sounds like he has a pretty positive attitude, which is what I was going to suggest. The power of positivity to overcome adversity is very real. Keep your chin up!
