Hello! I'm Summer (aka used to be Your_Roxyness),

And I am a very pregnant lady. Well, not very pregnant...just pregnant enough to be really sick right now...:frown: (7-8 weeks) due in November or so there will be a new member going to be added to the eGO family!
Now, this is the final baby I will ever have in my life so...MAKE IT GOOD! :D

I am looking for some suggestions for boy/girl baby names!
They can be weird, silly, or anything really. Make something awesome! (please don't be offensive on it though)

I always liked Kira for a girls name.
As for a boy I would have no idea,
because I already know what I'm
going to name mine and it wouldn't
really work for a non Russian,
unless ofcorse you like the name: Vladimir.
Hmmm..... Maybe... SAMuel...

Congrats on the baby! Choosing a name can be really difficult. It's a good thing to take account your last name, because it's always good to have the whole name roll off the tongue. It's also a good idea to do research on the different meanings of baby names. For example, Robert means Bright and Fame, and Abbey means beautiful.

But anyway, here are names I really like-

Also, it's OK and actually pretty original to name a child after someone. For example, I know a guy that named his kid Hendrix, which is a pretty badass first name.

Icy! -You know by FB that I have a boy named George already xD and the baby's name will not be "opps".

Thanks everyone for the names. :) Going to be getting a couple of people to be narrowing the names down to the top 10-15 so it will make it a bit easier to vote on.

Hopefully by next week or so. :D

As far as baby names go..
Few tips...
Just remember there are more "unique" names in prison than college.

Uniquely spelled names tend to have a harder time in life... and have to deal with people constantly messing up the pronunciation of said name. The novelty will wear off.

Also if you have names you are really thinking about.. I would suggest not telling your friends and family until after you've named the child. It will keep other peoples opinions from coloring yours. (Someone will no doubtedly say.... Oh I knew a insert baby name here he was a real butt.. I hated him.)

Guys tend to like one or two syllable names... or names that can be broken / shortened into a one syllable name. (Tom , John, Bob, Craig, Chris... sort of thing)

The typical sex that is associated with a name can be a difficulty too.
So naming a Boy ... Alice... can be problematic.. for the child.
Think of names that kids will make fun of... try to avoid those.. for the kids sake.

There is ton's of interesting discussions . blogs.. news.. documentaries on names and how they affect the kids future. Read up :)

Good luck with the name hunt... we spent the whole nine months thinking of names.. for both of our kids.
