White Album 2 made my heart physically hurt, what a series. Super good, one of my few 10 out of 10s.

I am thinking of Inuyashiki or sayonara zetsubuo sensei as my next watch, are they good?
 
CryogenicX CryogenicX watched anohana, was amazing and had a really interesting storyline.

currently right now im just watching yahari ore no seishun because it seemed like something up my alley and after that I was planning to watch a few other shows
 
_MEGA _MEGA I finally got to watch Digimon: Last Evolution Kizuna! One hell of a movie and a great send off for the life long fans. It was surprisingly dark too, didn't fully expect that one. But i enjoyed it a ton.
 
i got to like ep 60 of one piece but i want to watch something else

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! I think I felt the same as you did. I'm extremely satisfied with the way everything played out. I could feel that it was definitely a bit more targeted towards older fans.

I haven't watched too much recently since I've just been so busy with my final semester of grad school. However, I am planning to hit the theaters next month with my girlfriend for the Kimetsu no Yaiba movie. I'm definitely looking forward to this one, especially since a favorite character of mine is the main focus of the movie.
 
I'm hyped. After Digimon, this is probably the other series I loved most as a kid.



I also finally caught up on the past 5ish episodes of Fruits Basket that I've been behind on. Definitely still impressed with the way things are moving. Hopefully we get 2 more seasons otherwise I fear the 3rd year arc might get rushed a bit. Or at the very least 1 full season and then a single cour to wrap it up.

I didn't think it was possible for a show about a novelist and a cat he found could make me emotional, but this shows doing it.

When I'm doing getting kicked in the face with the cat and emotions, we're dabbled in Nichijou. Which is so random that it's fantastic. Pure insanity that leaves you not even bothering to question any of it.

Should be starting My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax soon. Although I am entirely NOT prepared for whatever emotions it will hurl at me.

I only seem to have the effort and time to watch shows on weekends though, most weekdays are filled with reading in the spare few hours.
 
Simon Simon Hope you're enjoying Nichijou! Definitely one of my favorites. Actually it's my "most recent" review from back in August... 2019. Didn't realize grad school and my thesis was getting me so hard haha. Even the past few seasons, I've been able to only keep up with maybe 2 shows at most. And even then I still fall behind. Oh well, hopefully after I present my thesis and get things published this year I can get back to the grind a bit.

I would say Nichijou is basically Lucky Star without the 2000s anime memes. You might also enjoy Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro or Asobi Asobase if you're liking Nichijou. They have that same "jokes taken to the extreme" theme going.

I just finished watching Rascal does not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. I thought the show was going to be somewhat cheesy, just from the name, but the whole scientific aspect of the show as well as the depth in some of the characters was actually quite nice. Need to find something else to occupy my time now

Watch the movie! It answers some bits that needed an answer and is a great story. “Rascal does not dream of a dreaming girl”
 
im watching haikyu s4 part2, one piece, jujutsu kaisen and probably gonna watch kuma kuma kuma bear which releases on wednesday. open to reccomendations aswell as all of these are releasing and is weekly :)
 
I tried hunter x hunter but I couldn’t continue after he completes the ninja school selection process (season1?) I just felt there was no more challenge and it really feels like naruto and I’m not ready for another long anime like naruto...

God, My Roommate is a Cat is a great show. I honestly didn't have a clue what to expect, but the way they did the show was entertaining.

I finished The Misfit of Demon King Academy. Overall, a fun show to watch, but the final fight in the end was more of a letdown compared to the earlier episodes' fights. The antagonists in the series were too plain and easily predictable. Worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet; I would give it a 6.5/10 overall. Also, I started to rewatch White Album 2; the feels, man. The feels....

On a separate note, I just found out yesterday that Log Horizon Season 3 is in the works, and will be released next year, January 2021 according to news on Sept 23 (Original release was March 2020, then pushed back to October, and now January 2021). Japanese voice actors will reprise their roles from back in 2013-2014, as well as key production staff will all be involved in producing Season 3. Looking forward to see season as I enjoyed the first two a lot.
