You can still see emojis, they just are replaced with a worse version and preceeded by a missing image texture.
Is this not the case for your blank_dvth

Doesn't appear to be the case for me on any of my devices:

The actual source of the image is unreachable, so it's likely cached for me

From the looks of it, this is because there's actually a unicode version of the emoji in the alt text as a backup. When the actual source of the image cannot load, usually the alt text is displayed alongside a broken image icon.

At the time it wasn’t working, but now it does work! I kinda hope they did something instead of it just randomly functioning because then we may know why it stopped working in the first place…
