Ive been folowing this game for only like 2 months now and i cant wait. Idk if anyone of you saw the E3 thing over it but it will be the first fully voiced MMO! Each char will have their own voice, which is pretty crazy. The cinematic was epic as well. I cant wait for them to go over the combat system, anyone else excited about this game?
 
yeah looks epic, but iv learnt not to get hyped by trailers. il wait till theres more gameplay videos
 
Ya i was really hoping they'd show some game play mechanics and stuff like that but hopefully this fridays "friday announcement" will be good.
 
star wars battlefront II was the best, not mmo but the best star wars game.

i like what i saw from the trailers/dev blogs, looks awesome.
 
ya, ive played Kotor and loved it, and that was some time ago that game came out. I cant even imaging how much better TOR is going to be.

I especially like the Battlefront and Jedi Knight series, but I'm a big Star Wars fan in general so I'm sure I'll enjoy this too (except it's probably a subscription-based RPG, so I'll probably be stuck playing free trials since I hate buying the same game 12 times a year :P)
 
Ya it will definatally have a monthly subscription, personally i hope the combat system is player controlled. Like i want to be able to block and strike when i want to with my lightsaber, and maybe even take aim with my blaster. I hope its not just hack and slash and stuff, but they said theyre making a "choreographed" combat system. Dont really know what that means, but in bioware i trust.
 
Also, don't be fooled into comparing this with KotOR 2. Bioware only did teh first one which was far superior.

This game looks great.
 
Yeah what's gotten me interested in it is that it's supposed to be a story-driven MMO, and supposed to turn away from the fedex type quests that WoW has. I'll definitely try it out.
 
I'm so hyped about this game that I re-installed KoTOR 1 and played it all over again.
 
I just hope to god that they don't follow current video game production trends and release it too soon for the sake of the fans. It's ruined a lot of potentially good games as of late.
 
Ya im playing through Kotor 1 again right now lol. And i cant wait for a story driven MMO. So im pretty excited. www.swtor.com For those of you interested they make friday announcements, which is where they announce all the stuff like classes and whatnot.
 
I can't wait, I hope for it to be something that can (in terms of gameplay and not fanbase) blow WoW out of the water.

Also they just need to make a CG star wars movie...that was the most epic trailer i've seen in quite a while.
 
battlefront 2 will never be beat by some other star wars game!!!!

i am very wrong haha(just watched the trailer)
but wheres yoda??? if he was there he will kill all of them lol

Battlefront 2 was a very good game, although I think they removed some cool features that the 1st one had. I installed Kotor 2 again recently and completed it, don't know why. Hope this game is ace, I'm sure it will be good. Trailer is absolutely epic, and tbh I love Star Wars anyway.

The events of The Old Rebublic take place 3,000 years before the rise of Vader and 350 years after the events of Kotor 2. So thats why lol. Battlefront 2 was alright, i recentally found my key and started playing. But theres really no reason to compare Battlefront 2 to TOR or Kotor. Bioware makes better games than pandemic or whoever made battlefront.
