Startin to hate aa3

I am startin to hate this game already. it took me 5 or six hours to download it. then i go to play it last night and i am doin the training. Right after the marksmanship one it boots me straight back to start up screen. I get on this mornin to see if they fixed it the login isnt working.

I dont understand how they make a game and have huge bugs in it like this. Maybe some projectx guys will fill me in on what happened.

anywho yall have a good thanks for wasting your time to hear me vent.
 
5 hours? Mine is taking about 2hrs 30mins. (400kb/s)

The game just came out - consider it beta. Give it a month or so to work out the glitches and get everything set up correctly.

If we consider this the beta, then what was the beta? lol. But Like zippy said, just give it some time. I finally got my log in to work. But once i was in it was really laggy. I'm sure they are working on it.
 
There must not be very many other people downloading it :) 407 kb/s, 83%

I fee bad for games that get spammed with hate comments/posts... (Note: I do NOT mean this post.) To see developers so eager to get started, have there hopes crushed.

Project X doesnt have anything to do with America's Army. Not even remotely :P
 
everytime I try and do a training mission it just says LOADING MISSION and freezes my comp.
 
This was posted on the Steam-forums by a AA3 dev/whatnot:

"The Authentication servers are being hit very hard. We're working on getting this resolved.

I am sorry for the delay."

Have patience, my Padawan. :)
 
All of these problems are because of the heavy load on the servers. Millions of people are trying to access the game
 
Considering the servers had hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of people downloading from their servers that day. Of course it'll be slow.

Just give it some time, play some ft2 while you wait. :D
 
Note, training DOES infact save but due to the overload there is an extreme delay ie, 24 hours.

What you can do is complete the avilable unlocked training session and wait till it sync's up then repeat.

Maybe the beta was the alpha version. And same here, It's really laggy. It's hard to do the marksman test when you lag that much. If they can fix the lag issues, and a few other bugs, The game will be pretty good.

As far as the bugs, and the lag, There should not be this much. :(

dude just be patient -.- theyre working on it...its to be expected if millions of pple with different pings are dling the game all at once at the same time

I downloaded the game in 10mins yesterday, just waiting on the extreme delay and stuff to get worked out. Really fun game from what i've played.
 
Yeah, so i got logging in working, but I do training and then as i go to weapons familiarization, i get kicked to main screen and it says i havent completed ANY trainings....
