My friend's name was Lugia and I was Ho-oh. A shiny Ho-Oh seemed cooler than a normal one, so I changed my name to Shiny Ho-Oh. Then I dropped the Ho-Oh and stuck with Shiny. my name is pronounced shih-knee because some people in a casual match mispronounced shiny and i thought it was funny so i went with it.
