Do you have AMPLE PSU? And like i asked before, are you overclocking anything by any chance?

Okay open steam, right click one of the games, go to properties, local files tab, Delete Ingame content, and verify your cache. Then try the game tell me what happens this is just a normal procedure. Do you still have the games with you etc... perhaps uninstall and reinstall the games...this...

I know this may not make difference, but in bios are you set to boot up as which type of card...check that. Also, are you performing any overclocking to your system what so ever?

Dont format yet...can you explain your problem a bit more? Can you open steam, just not open a game, correct?

Check your drivers of Chipset, Gfx card...did you change anything recently hardware or software...was it not doing this before? Perhaps if Vista or XP do a system restore...More information will help if you can provide it, PB is a pain more then it isn't.
