Well you can also Bind the restart to a key. If you have a key your not using.. say L then in the console you can type Bind L snd_restart (may or maynot have to use " " around snd_restart eg. Bind L "snd_restart") then every time your sound gets whacky you can just hit the L key and it'll fix...
