I like the idea of sky platforms but it should have enough cover where you won't get sniped the moment you try to move to a different platform.

Part of the problem could be that other people in your house are using your connection or someone could be taking up bandwidth on your wireless. Like everyone is saying, Verizon offers a poor bandwidth allowance and even someone checking their Facebook can have an impact.
