i am pretty sure i read a post from bazz on the ea forums, that this gun and the m1911 are going to "tweaked" in the next patch coming out.

I just finished platinum starring the XM8 LMG. i found using this with the red dot and magnum ammo made it the most incredible gun. I think it's sort of a mix between a LMG and a assault rifle. Trying to platinum the m249 with.. yep, red dot and magnum ammo. Again, it's like a assault rifle...
