Yeah the playerbase is really good on discovery mod, one of the serves has 100+ people on at one time.

Yeah the RP element kinda gets in the way a lot, though I find it enjoyable sometimes, especially now that I run part of the Liberty Navy and can boss people around. I play on the UK server though so most of the RP to be had is "Give me money or I'll kill you"

I will let my room-mate buy it first and try it on his before I buy it, but if it is even half as good as the trailers make it look I'll get it. Anything but going back to WoW... *shudders at the thought*

World in conflict is one of the best out there, though it takes some getting used to and is fairly taxing on low to mid range computers.

I just got the game again after a few years without it, man I don't remember it being as good as this. If anyone plays it lemme know, I'm mostly on 88 Flak and Discovery mod servers.

I haven't tried the nightfever server yet, map takes too long to DL and im too lazy to get it, I'll probably get it in a few days and check it out.

Other than steam all I have is more PC games, number one being Freelancer (which I now run through steam) Wow, I just realized I spend most of my waking day logged into steam... :cool:
