Sounds like a cool idea, though may I suggest putting the title of the game somewhere near the top, took me a few minutes to realize it wasn't a Left 4 Dead event. ;)

If that is true I totally agree, but are we sure that people are actually getting items by idling in those servers? I read a lot of posts in other forums of people saying they idled overnight and got nothing. But if that is all it takes, then yeah, they need to fix it. I don't really care...

The problem with that idea is that it would still be very easy to "farm" for the items.

Maybe you haven't played many games with an achievement system (ex. Xbox 360) but that's generally how it goes in any game. If you want work mixed in with your fun, you might want to try an MMO (ex. World of Warcraft). It saddens me as well. TF2 is just as fun as it ever was. It sounds to...

Personally I'm fine with the new system. I don't know why so many people get so worked up or angry about it saying it's "broken" or "flawed". Just play the game and have fun. If you get something, great. If you don't, you're still having fun right? If not, you probably should be playing...

I don't really like any of them but I think I dislike "punk free gaming" the most, I think because it always makes me think of punk music.

I have a love/hate relationship with these kinds of games. They sort of seem to cheapen the act of playing real instruments in a real band, but on the other hand, it's still a lot of fun when playing and/or drinking with friends. This is certainly cooler than having a game based on Aerosmith...

eGO is a awesome community, don't get me wrong, but do you really need to keep making posts telling everyone how awesome you are? I didn't think the name "eGO" was supposed to have a double meaning but maybe I was wrong. Just let the fun speak for itself and stop bragging.
