You don't want to put a Plasma TV in a bright room. They have a plexi-glass cover which reflects tons of light. The good part about plexi-glass is that acts as a shield. The kids could throw a ball at it and not hurt the TV. LCD would not take the abuse but also does not reflect much light...

What free programs are there to convert a .dem to .avi? My google searches came up with websites no longer in existence. I have a .dem that I wish to view at slow speed. Is there a way to do that?
