High ping is probably because of the connection. You'll probably have to play at the lowest quality and drop the resolution down. Try hooking directly to the router and see if that helps your ping, if you have a LAN connection on your laptop.

Yeah, even though your card might support DX10, it's still very taxing on it. Most low end cards and laptops that say they support DX10 will show a picture, but, it will be extremely laggy. It's much more important to have a smoother animation than it is to have more details on something.

Your best bet is to just force DX9. Even if your card supports DX10 it's probably going to lag.

There's a fix for the black screen issue. Find documents>bfbc2>settings.cfg, open it up with notepad and change dxversion to 9 (from auto) then save it.
