Now I have a better understanding of the eight year gap between TFC and TF2 - several of those years were probably spent just making the maps not suck. Though I expect the maps played different in Ye Olde Dayes, when the Demoman and even the Spy had Shotguns...

What I was suggesting was just a written list for people to call off from, but if there were an in-game software solution that would quickly set class/loadout restrictions, that would be fantastic. Anyway, a couple ideas off the top of my head: stock shotgun only no bullets, no explosives...

I liked the concept but coming up with class/loadout restrictions on the spot led to a lot of "umm... this round... blue goes... umm..." Perhaps we should start a list of faceoffs we'd like to see so there's less pressure to be clever at a moment's notice. And with all the people talking over...
