I haven't been on for a year or so, but very much looking forward to BFV with you guys! Since I haven't been on in forever, do i get demoted or anything? I'm in the peasants club. I don't believe in the whole pay more to play early bs. so i'm waiting til standard version release arrives.

Also, i can still open BF4 straight from the bf4.exe without having to go through the origin app. the taskbar shortcut i have still works. I was worried i'd have to go thru the app, because i hate origin, in general, and extra steps.

Just to be clear on where you're at in troubleshooting this(I don't know if you already know this), the latest update informed me on my battlelog page that i would have to start the game through origin, and it brings up battlelog on chrome. i can join and play games just fine still using chrome...

Once the rush of BF1 settles down and we have a feel for where our BF4 servers are population wise, I recommend doing a DLC server for bf4. I've only ever mentioned this as a desire in teamspeak, so I thought I'd throw it out on the forum now that DLC maps are or have been free for a while...
