So, as it turns out, the 95 Laptop doesn't have all of the Communication Extras installed on it, so a parallel direct connection is not possible. It would have to be Female USB to Male parallel, for that to work.

No way, I'm satying away from it. It an OS made for a tablet, NOT a dektop/laptop comupter. I'm sticking with Vista 64-bit until something decent comes around. :P

Nextday now, Vista machines wont see ping or see each other...and I didn't even do anything with one of them. And yeah, I honestly think it is the router, all these problems started when we picked it up a few weeks ago.

Nope, still not working. I also tried doing this on the Vista machine (to see if I could ping them via the Win7 machine) but still a no go.
