When is the Minecraft server coming?
- My current goal is November or December of 2026, it should be no later than that. It could be earlier...
What kind of server is it going to be?
- A lot of ideas have been thrown around, but ultimately we decided to do an SMP with seasons. The server will launch in a preseason state.
How will the seasons work?
- Seasons will run for 3 months. I won't disclose how winners of each season are calculated just yet, but that will be answered on or right before the server goes public.
How is this SMP going to differ from SMPs in the past?
- The short answer? You're going to have to trust me. There is a reason the server is launching 5 months from now, not tomorrow. We are working hard to create a unique experience that makes you want to come back and play.
