im currently making my own video of scout kill frag video thingy.
first off its best to use source recorder, meaning you record yourself playing, every round to cut down on the time, then any good rounds you keep those demos and convert them to an avi from a .dem file format. to do so download the Xvid MPEG-4 codec located
HERE. Install it and basically what you do is this: Use the demo recording bind i am going to PM to you, then you open up console, type startmovie name avi and a window will pop up asking for a compression type or something, make sure you choose the xvid mpeg-4 thing you downloaded/installed then it will say your movie will start once your console is closed. then type playdemo demonamethatyouwanttomakeamovieoutof and sit back and relax. it will look like its playing at 2 FPS, which is fine, just wait until its done then type endmovie. now in your cstrike folder you can watch what you just made a movie from, and its primed for editing in whichever program you want.
i use sony vegas pro 9.0 which has great effects but it isn't free. umm some helpful hints is, unless you really want the audio in your video, turn it off. even if you do want audio type voice_enable 0 so you cannot see the mic messages at the lower right, or hear people speak. you can play with it on, but before you record the movie of your demo, turn it off.
now im not sure how to get the effect you want, of zooming around in free look after you just killed somebody, but im sure you can google it.
that is a really sweet video tho, be great to make stuff that awesome, but that takes weeks upon weeks, not including how long it takes to get that footage, lol
