Hold Windows 7 Party

[Snipeye]

I just read this news article about how Microsoft will give away free copies of Windows 7 Ultimate for those who are selected to host Windows 7 parties. "Apply online to host a Launch Party. Choose a day from October 22-29 and if you're selected, you'll not only receive a special Signature Edition of Windows? 7 Ultimate but your very own Windows? 7 Party Pack. "

Knowing that eGO has hosted LAN parties and similar events in the past, I thought that I would give the clan the chance to host one for its members and friends and family. If I was one of the organizers of this event, I would definitely agree that letting a group as big as eGO, with its various sponsors and far-reaching influence, to host a Windows 7 would be great publicity and endear many potential customers to buy the OS when they see how great it is.

Here is a link to the news article, and where to apply for those interested, though I would enjoy seeing eGO being able to host such a party and receive free versions of Windows 7 Ultimate.
