Fail to load device drivers to ps/2 keyboard i8042.

I keep getting this annoying error on Vista 64bit. I have both HID keyboard and mouse and they both work fine. The drivers for all my HID are up to date. I tried searching the web and Microsoft website but no luck yet. Does anyone know what this error means and how i to get rid of it or fix it?

When do you get this error?

The only thing I can think of is you might want to try reinstalling the drivers.

Also, please post your computer specs.

it happens when i try to generate a health report status .

the error pops up saying my ps/2 keyboard drivers are not installed or not working. the problem is i am not using a ps/2 keyboard. i am using a USB/HID keyboard and mouse,

I have a couple more questions then:
Does the PS/2 Keyboard show up in the device manager?
Have you ever used a PS/2 keyboard on this computer?
Is their some dust or something stuck in the PS/2 port?

You could try following this tutorial to show ghost devices and then see if you can find it in the device manager.
