Hey all Im having a problem with a laptop the programs on my computer close or sometimes dont even start The message I get says.

Microsoft Windows at the top
and then states whatever program has stopped working.
Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.

Then gives me 2 options Check online for a solution and close the program
or Close the program.

Then at the bottom says view problem details.
Help its really annoying Tried fixing it all the regular ways I even thought it was the program DEP Data Execution Prevention on Vista but once I disabled that it still comes up.

That usually has to do with the program that you are running. DEP stops you from being buffer overflowed... which is just a way to get viruses onto a system, some programs aren't designed for this yet. My best bet would be to switch operating systems like windows xp or maybe even windows 7 when it is released. You could also find a different program to use.
