Making Ingame sprays

If you just crop the picture at the bottom of the letters, you wont have trouble trying to erase them. funny pic, btw!!

Hey guys, how do I make a tag that I can upload to Day of Defeat and that it has transparency properties?

you need it to be a vtf file i know whenu upload a picture you get a VTF file and a VTM file im not sure the difference.

once you figure it out you throw it in

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\-----------\day of defeat source\dod\materials\VGUI\logos

hehe i always upload my sprays for my pics i dont put them in that file hehe

you cannot make a transparent spray from the in game uploader you need to convert the file yourself and then place it manually

Thanks Ahnhell, I already had the .vtf and the .vtm but I guess I was just putting it in the wrong folder. I was placing it in the UI folder, but I guess that doesn't work (for me anyway). I ended up putting both the .vtf and the .vtm in the logos folder, I'm not sure if that was necessary, but it works perfectly! Thanks again!
