Code of Conduct

All standard eGO guidelines on behavior, specifically but not limited to language, are in effect at all times and at all events.

Being silly with low gravity or hyperspam does not entitle any member to make disrespectful or disparaging comments.

eGO Dog Tag Scrim
-Info-

EdgeGamers™ Organization consists of 3 classes

=(e)=™
=(eG)=™
=(eGO)=™

Each class will will compete in a scrim against one another to have their dog tag on the front page. The scrims will last 1 hour. A 30 min overtime will be used if necessary.
How it works

1 class has to beat BOTH classes in a row to have their tag on the page. Example: if e's play and beat the eG's they then play the eGO's. If they win their tag is on the page.

All scrims will be held on CP/CTF type maps ONLY. Only points will count NOT CAPS! The team with the most points wins the match. The map will also stay the same throughout ALL the scrims till 1 class wins. The scrim hosts will then choose a new map for the next set of scrims.

eGO Royal Rumble
-Info-

The Royal Rumble is eGO's monthly event. It will be held on a Saturday, once a month. it pits the council/advisor's against, well, everyone! e's, eG's and eGO's teaming up to bring down the man, the administration, the... I'll just stop there. Basically what it is is a fun event for everyone to get to meet the advisor's/council. And have a good time doing it. Maybe even take a few of their scalps with ya!

-Rules-

These will be the exact same rules we have for any other event/scrim. There's a few special rules, however:

  • If we cannot fill a team with council/advisor's, eGO's will take the empty spots. Just eGO's.

  • If a council/advisor dominates someone on the non-council/advisor's, they have to drop out. Anyone on the non-council/advisor team can dominate any council or advisor without the council/advisor member being forced to leave.

The Royal Rumble will be held once a month.

The map(s) will be chosen by the scrim captains, it will be a different map every month.

NOTE: There will be NO screwing around. This is not a meet and greet, it will be just like a scrim; you whine and your gone. We will not have low grav, all one class, nothing like that.

Edge Gamers Hour
-Info-

Edge Gamers Hour

This is not a Monday Madness.
There will be no melee only or all 1 class, we will save that for the Monday Madness.

We will be playing a regular game, just no teams assigned.

When you join a team you wont have to wait in spawn, just play.

Once the server is locked your in. Who knows, maybe an e and an eGO team up and DOMINATE THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!! Ive seen stranger things happen..

Late Night Fights
-Info-

All are welcome! Held every Friday night at 1:00AM EST. These will also be regular games: no assigned teams, no melee only, no no-taunt-no-kill, just like the above. The server will be locked for 1 hour, but please try and stay to help fill the server after the event.

Meet and Greets
-Info-

Meet-and-Greets are fun events where we get together on the server, have fun, and get to know each other. There are different types of Meet-and-Greets:

All Hands
Meet-and-Greets are open to any members of eGO who play TF2. These Events often have a range of members from e, eG, and eGO to the occasional Advisor, Division Leader, or even Council Member who will make a guest appearance.

New Member
New Member Meet-and-Greets are restricted to new recruits to eGO who have been specifically invited by Event Coordination team members or Admin Recruiters.

Recruiting

Recruiting Meet-and-Greets are public Meet-N-Greets intended as eGO "Open House" Events. They are an opportunity for selected and invited public players to get to know eGO members on a more personal basis. Players are invited solely by Admin Recruiters.

All are welcome to these events, but we hope to get a lot of the new e's to attend, so they can get to know some of our senior eGO's.

Monday Madness
-Info-

An end-all-be-all event, The EC's and Leadership have FULL power over you. Wear a helmet

EuroCentric
This event is specially designed for our Eastern Hemisphere players but all are welcomed to attend it.

Rules: Standard event rules that are stated in the first post.
Held: Usually between 7-9 GMT

Class vs Class

This event can be competitive or noncompetitive. We pick two random classes that seem fit to verse each other, like Demo vs Soldier, and have the server duke it out for a 30 minute period before deciding the winner.

Rules: No capping of intel or be disqualified. Must be one of the classes doing the vs. Standard event rules that are stated in the first post. Other various rules will be stated in the event.
Held: Usually occur on Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays.

Class Training

This event is for those who are newer to TF2 or would like to get better at the certain class being taught.

Rules: Standard event rules that are stated in the first post. Breaking rules during this event have dire consequences.
Held: On occasion

Finally Friday
This event is where we play mini-games like scout juggling or pyro tennis.

Rules: Standard event rules that are stated in the first post. Breaking rules during this event have dire consequences.
Held: On some Fridays

Map Testing events
This is where we open up the fun server to members and have them test out one or more new maps.

Rules: Standard event rules that are stated in the first post.
Held: On occasion

Events and Scrim Rules
eGO Rules and order will be upheld during scrims along with the following:

1. Regular or "vanilla" games mean just that: No low grav, no melee only, no "no-taunt-no-kill". Please do not ask for them.

2. Do NOT call out commands. You are not running the event; the Event Coordinator is.

3. Listen to and follow directions from the Event Coordinator running the event. The Coordinators work hard on these events and have dedicated their time to them, so please show them respect.

4. For most events, "all talk" is enabled; Do NOT spam your mic, admin chat, or all chat.

5. The Event Coordinator(s) has/have full discretion and control of the server when hosting an event. If you fail to comply with any of the formentioned rules, you will be met with consequences. This applies to all members.

Please remember that we are all here to have fun.

NOTE: Any suggestions or ideas should be sent via website PM to iGreen and Aneruen

Road Trip Rules & Regulations

Road Trip Information
Road Trips
Road Trips are when a group of eGO members go into another clan’s server and have a little fun. During road trips we can go 1 class, try out new maps, scrim clans, or 'fill and crash' servers (See below for more info).

Note: Road trips are restricted to eG and eGO level members ONLY.

Road Trip Types
Single Class Road Trips
During single class road trips we go into another server and we all go 1 class. This can be extremely fun messing the other team by lighting them all up with fire or not dying because we are all healing each other. Who knows what can happen?

Custom Maps Road Trips
During custom map road trips we test out new and interesting maps. These maps vary from old counter-strike classic maps all the way to Mario maps. This is the most common road trips and is sometimes mixed into others.

Clan Road Trips
During clan road trips we go into a server with a bunch of another clan’s members and we do a fun little scrim against them. We all try to get onto the same team but it doesn’t always work out.

Fill and Crash Road Trips
During fill and crash road trips we go into a server with a low amount of numbers. We play in the server enough to get the server up to a descent amount of numbers (about 6/8 or more) and then all leave at the EXACT same time. When the host of the road trip types in something along the lines of: “eGO, disband!!!” then that is the command to leave.

Road Trip Rules
Road Trip Rules
1. Follow the eGO motd rules while in the other clan’s server
2. You MUST be in Vent to participate. This means no following through steam friends. If you don’t have a mic you can still come in vent and listen.
3. No advertising or recruiting. Do NOT talk about eGO in detail or give out the website via chat or voice. If someone asks, just mention eGO stands for "EdgeGamers." If they have more questions, ask if you can add them to Steam.
