So here's my problem, my gaming PC's cpu overheats whenever I try to use it.

It jumps right to the 89 celcius and then it stays still.
I replaced the heat paste with new one, now it won't jump to the 100 celsius -.-

Do I need to get new CPU cooler/Cpu?

Did you

A) Clean all the previous paste off
B) use enough so that after placing the fan it was able to spread across the whole CPU?

I'm assuming your fan is starting - 'cause otherwise, that's pretty obvious.

What cooler is it? I have the Zerotherm NV120 and it takes significantly more paste that other coolers I've used to get full contact (absolutely love it otherwise).

Stock cooler? If it's not too old, RMA / Warranty.

Definitely, if it's older, check for dust on the fins under the fan. Remove the fan from your heatsink and take a toothbrush to it. Most of my heat-related issues have been solved with a little dusting.

Another thought. The thermal sensors on some boards DO go bad. However, with an ASUS board, fat-chance. Just a thought.

usually your fan speed can be uped, thru the setting of F10 while booting your computer, thats what i did from 50%- 120% and it lowered my temp almost 20 C
