Hey guys. This is just a basic tutorial on how to download, and correctly use Skins, Maps, and Sprays. First, you will need to know what you are looking for, and find it on the list.
Skins
Counter-Strike: Source
Team-Fortress 2
Day of Defeat: Source
Garry's Mod
Left 4 Dead
Killing Floor
Maps

Installing these mods & skins!
Step 1. Once you find the section that you are looking for on the list, find a download that you want from the website. Once you find what you want, click download. After the download has started, click Open. Some downloads don't have a choice and go straight to save as, or some directly to open. If it happens to Save As, just save it on your desktop, and open it when it's done..
Step 2. Look in the file that you downloaded. It should have multiple folders labeled, materials, models, sounds, etc. If it just has 1 folder that says the file you downloaded, just open that up. Sometimes, the people are generous, and already start the folder where you will be saving it to. For example, if you're downloading a CS:S Skin, they already have the file "cstrike" there. If they do, skip to the next step, but if not, keep reading this. You should now be looking at a menu like this.
Step 3. Now. Once your screen looks like that, go to Start/My Computer/C://Program Files/Steam/Your Steam Name/The Game you are Skinning. Once you are there, you should find a file(s) inside that; you will want to open:
CounterStrike:Source- cstrike
Garry's Mod- garrysmod
Team-Fortress2- tf
Day of Defeat: Source- dod
Half-Life2- hl2
Once you are in the correct folder, it should show you multiple files, like this.
Step 4. Once you have found that folder, go back to the download that you have either saved, or opened, and carry the files over, from the WinRAR to the game folder. (i.e if the winrar has Sounds, carry them over to the sounds section of the folder.) If it says it will replace the file, just hit okay.

Downloading Maps & Sprays.To download maps, simply follow the guide above. Once the file is downloaded, however, most times it will just have 1 single map file. Go to C://Program Files/Steam/steamapps/your name/the game/file inside, list above/Maps. Once it is in maps, restart your game, and it will appear on the map list
