Radar Disappear? Models Disappear? Here's How To Get it Back

1. Make sure you can open your console. If nothing pops up when you hit the tilde button (~) do the following:

• Options >> Keyboard tab >> Advanced
• Tick 'Enable Developer Console (~)

2. You are now going to record a video. Recording a video fixes the radar and the bug where all the player models disappear leaving only guns and knives visible.

• Open Console using ~
• Type "Record D" - You can use any name besides D if you want eg "Record IWantToHavePhaseXerosBabies"
• Type "Stop" after you see it say "Recording..."

Success! Now you can stop blaming your radar for why you died

I've never experienced a radar disappearance before...except cl_radaralpha 0

which is fixed with cl_radaralpha 200.

What makes it poof?

Frankly radar disappearing happens so much in jail people should just bind the console commands.



Do like bind f7 record wait;wait;wait stop

(terrible at binds so don't know if ^ is actually anywhere near correct)

that should do the trick

ya... radar can be kind of important from time to time i guess. i get more concerned when the models are gone, and all you see are floating guns
