So... One day playing DoD, my pc suddenly gets a nice blue-screen.

After alot of checking and stuff, I figured out it was because multi-core rendering is on.

Strange thing is, it have always been on. I also got 2 graphic cards, so can't think of any hardware related problems.

Wondered is anyone else have been bothered with this problem and might have a solution or theory about why this suddenly appeared.

Also, playing without multicore rendering is not something I intend to do. My fps drops from an average of 100 to about 50, which sucks.

It's the first time this have happened, and no important hardware or software changes were made beofre it occured.

Long thing short:

* Bluescreen with multicore rendering enabled.
* Laggy if multicore thingy is off.
* Can't find a solution to this problem
* Halp?

*EDIT*

Throwing in some hardware specs if it's relevant:

AMD Athlon 6400+ Dual-Core, no OC.
Corsair 2x4GB Ram with no OC.
HIS Radeon HD 4870, got two of those, no OC.
WDC 1TB, 32mb cache HDD.
All placed on a Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4.

Try turning themulticore settings off maybe that works, or re-install the game

That's what I said, I'm having them off but that makes my fps drop by about 60-100.

And I'm not reinstalling that game, gonna take me hours..
