Abnormal lag

Hey.
Well today I logged online and found that in CSS i'm having some real problems with lag =/
My latency has shot up from about 150 to 230 odd, and my choke is at 100-130.

If anyone has any ideas on what could be causing the problem, I would be very grateful :]. I've restarted the router, restarted my computer. CSS has been running with nothing open in the background, and noone else using the network.

what are your computer and internet specs and where are you located/which servers are you logging into

It could just be the servers you are logging into. If its server side theres not much you can do except get closer. On your end try to get you PC cool as possible and if you can get a network card they help.

actually personally i get a much faster connection with my on board lan rather than my nic card - but ya.
you can fix some things with changing your rates (css console commands), depending on what all of your settings are

I'm in the UK with a decent connection... my ping was around 150 with 0 choke up until a couple of days ago. I didn't alter anything, and i'm getting it on non-eGO servers so it's not just them.
Gonna do a virus scan, but i'm sure my computer is clean.
