Hey guys, I'm crazy bored, so I'm trying to install Diablo II on my netbook (no disc drive).

I have the game in a desktop, I've accessed the cd drive on it, and have the folders on the disc open (on my netbook). Except for when I click setup.exe it asks me to put in the install disc, which I do have in the desktop's drive.

Help?

try copying all the disc contents on your hd then installing?

Dunno...

I'd still have to use the different discs, so it wouldn't work (most likely).

Well, if you're going to be bored for a loooooooooong time...

You can try creting ISO's (disc image) of the diablo II discs then move them onto your netbook then use a program (like daemon-tools) to mount the image on your netbook, this would basically emulate a cd rom drive

A hard drive install should work, I'm pretty sure I've done it.

Create a folder on your desktop and copy all the contents of the all the discs to that folder and run setup.

So put in all of the discs, and copy all the files to separate folders on my desktop?

You could also install Diablo on the computer with a disc drive then simply copy and paste the folder onto the other computer.

All the same folder. The installer shouldn't ask you for discs.
