Need to buy new Graphics card

Been gaming with this computer for about 2 years. RAM is good but the graphics are for Media.

Here is the Specs I got from Xfire

Manufacturer: HP-Pavilion
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) 9550 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
Memory: 5120MB RAM
Hard Drive: 737 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9300 GE
Monitor:
Sound Card: Headset Earphone (Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 )
Speakers/Headphones:
Keyboard: USB Root Hub
Mouse: USB Root Hub
Mouse Surface:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)

Can you guys tell me any Gaming Graphics Card that is good?
 
5 gigs of RAM *GASP* that is an odd # that isnt 3

What is your:
PSU (in watts)
Motherboard (does it have PCIe?)
Budget
 
Your need a new PSU before you get any decent video card. Most likely he has a 300 to 350W PSU in there. And yes he does have PCI-E slot in there.

Yep,

Buy a corsair hx550 or a thermaltake toughpower PSU... go modular for fun and make your case cleaner..

Then grab like a GTX Core 216, gtx 275, or something else thats kinda cheap right now.

Or wait for FERMI and watch all the prices drop.. hehe

The Nvidia GTX series have risen in price ever since the ATI 5 series came out.........i would recommend getting an ATI 5850 for best pricer/performance

A 5850 cost around $300 and it beats a GTX 285 while a GTX 285 cost around $400 right now or $380

Don't bother waiting for Fermi if you need a GPU now, they won't be coming till atleast march or later considering the problems Nvidia is having right now

yes....im expecting Fermi to start in the like $500's?? and up

with a delay this long......Nvidia needs to come out with something that is going to blow the ATI 5 series out of the water but it probably won't happen....they are gonna come out with cards that are faster than an ATI 5870 but then ATI is gonna come out with a card to match it as they have said they have something up their sleeve to match the Nvidia cards when they come out, no one knows what tho
