Why Are You Not Being Promoted?

We've got a long list of admins and an even longer list of registered users here at eGO. We manage 9 gaming servers and two separate clans. It's time consuming work, and most Council members and some Advisors spend more time in the management roll then we do playing the game, but we love it.

So with all of that, added to real life issues, people slip through the cracks. We recently promoted someone to eG that has been with us for a year! How did that happen?

We strive to promote everyone at the moment we determine it's deserved. That moment could be 2 days after you join the clan and I bump into you in a server and find you to be likable, mature and fun. Or, for some, it could take longer for us to get to know you.

With so many players putting on the =(e)= tag everyday, I would encourage everyone to find a house to join. Doing this gives you a smaller community to make yourself known in. Your house leader will help you acquire the tools needed to get a promotion. Plus, House leaders communicate with the Council and Advisors through a private forum, and by phone, giving them direct access to each other. We often talk about who needs to be promoted.

So, join a house, get active and get known!

i could care less about promotions its all about having fun playing the game and being social with ur clan members and killing some germans thats how i feel i really could care less if it takes me 5 yrs to get eg as long as i can play on the servers with ppl i know and havea good time i dont even care

yes but promotions just show the people that their dedication to playing time and the community is recognized. Some people want admin just for the community not the admin. They want to be a biger part of the community.

Who cares about promotions? I love this community and I enjoy playing on your servers. Being an =e= is a badge of honor, a symbol of my appreciation for you guys who have put so much into making these servers so good. One suggestion I have though is a rotation server.

and also, Id love to step up to the plate and contribute something. Give me a task, im always here, since i cannot work due to a broken hand (i can still own online). So im always home, give me an assignment, homework, something to keep me busy..
