As of today, TF2 just decides not to work well.

It seems that me trying to fix it has only made it worse. A few hours ago, It would crash when joining a server. However, Now it won't even show me the Main Menu before it crashes.
When I launch TF2, It shows the Valve videos, and then shows the loading thing at the bottom right. Right when it should show the menu It says: Engine Error: Your graphics hardware must support at least pixel shader version 1.1 to run this game! Funny thing is, My GPU does support it.

Sometimes it will show no error at all and just crash.

I've already reinstalled TF2, Messed with launch settings, Updated all drivers, Defragged/Verified files, and reinstalled Steam. Still have one of the 2 problems above.

Try reinstalling the video drivers. The driver you have now isn't that old, but reinstalling it may fix the issue. You can also try right clicking on TF2 in steam and click on properties, Local Files tab, and click on Verify Integrity of game cache. If these don't fix the problem, you may need to reinstall TF2.

Ive already verified files, as well as reinstalled. Ill try reinstalling my video drivers when I get home.

Open up Start and type regedit in the search field to open up the Registry Editor, then navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Source and delete the tf key. This will set all video settings to their default values.

After that, start the game and verify if that works.
