2 Steam Accounts

I have 2 steam accounts and for some reason I cant play with both at the same time.

ok I want to play insurgency with my cousin so he logs on his computer with my old steam account and I log on my computer with my new steam account we are both in the same house using the same rotter. I have to steam accounts because my old steam account is from when I bought halflife back in 1999 i dont think steam was outback then I think it use to be called "won" or something like that so the old account is linked to the original half life 1 game and my new account is linked to my purchase of orange box for Christmas 09 (Thanks Halflife for 10 years of great gaming)
.....Ok my question is why is it that when I log on, he cant log on and when he logs on I cant log on (we are not using the same account to log on to steam and both accounts work perfectly well)

well aside from steam being stupid i dont know but i can test it our for you to see if it's just you.

That shouldnt be a problem. Me and my brother both log onto different accounts in the same house and can play tf2.

works fine i was able to login on 2 of my account on the same network.




you should check your router settings and make sure nat is working and both computer have unique local ip's
